My name is Peter Canale.

I have over 20 years experience playing guitar on my own, in studio and live on stage.  In that time, through practice, playing with others, and a lot of trial and error, I have found that there are a few key fundamentals to playing that benefit both absolute beginners and more advanced students.

Teaching students and helping them unlock the guitar puzzle box gives me tremendous joy and never gets old.

 

My philosophy is simple:  Anyone can learn to play the guitar with a little patience and dedication.  

I stress that students focus on a specific concept, master it before moving on to the next concept, and this yields amazing results.  This is a great advantage of one on one lessons.  It is how i learned and i want to share that with anyone who has an interest.

 

Whether you are a beginner, self-taught or someone who just wants to learn their favorite songs, my thoughtful, informative and fun approach will work for you, I promise.
